The size of this item is much smaller than your typical cutting board making it a better choice for decorating. However, it is absolutely ok and 100% food grade safe. Prior to shipping your order will be treated with Food Grade Mineral Oil to condition and protect the wood. Please be sure to wash before use - See the included instructions for additional directions.
